The Milligan Arts Council is excited to present an Artist Lecture Series highlighting artists at the forefront of the flourishing art scene in Johnson City, Tennessee. Jocelyn Mathewes is a mixed-media interdisciplinary artist. She earned her bachelor’s degree in studio art and English literature from Messiah College. Her work has been exhibited in galleries, museums, and community spaces all over the United States, and she has participated in multiple residencies. In 2020, she founded EAT/ART space, an alternative pop-up gallery.
