  • Emmanuel Christian Seminary at Milligan College and is part of Milligan’s School of Bible and Ministry.
  • Dr. Rollin Ramsaran is Dean of the seminary.

  • Physical Address: B.D. Phillips Building, One Walker Drive, Johnson City, TN 37601. This can be used for FedEx and UPS. All other mail should go to the PO Box.
  • School-related FedEx packages can be dropped off at Sabine’s office. All personal mail needs to be shipped to your personal address.

Students

  • Milligan College has its own official United States Post Office. Situated at the entrance to campus, the post office is here to serve you.  To receive mail on-campus, you must rent a PO Box online. Mail is not delivered to residence halls. All mail sent through the US Postal Service should be addressed to:

Orientation & Registration (download full schedule here)

  • New ECS students: (all required)
    • Monday, Aug 15, 8:45 am-4 pm, Orientation in BD Phillips Building. Lunch provided.
    • Monday, Aug 15, 7:00 pm- dessert in faculty homes
  • Returning ECS students:
    • If you have registration questions or need to finalize your billing/student account (must be paid in full or on payment plan by Sept 1):

  • Classes start: Wednesday, Aug 17

Bookstore

  • The Milligan Bookstore serves Emmanuel and is located in the McMahan Student Center (SUB).
  • Packages with a prepaid UPS or FedEx label can be dropped off at the Milligan Bookstore. Both pickup daily.

Business Office & Financial Aid

  • Business Offices are located in McCown Cottage (click for map). This is where you address student account and financial aid issues.
  • Financial Aid is handled by the Student Financial Services (SFS) Office. Contact: Diane Keasling at 423.461.8968 or dlkeasling@milligan.edu.
  • Student Accounts (tuition, fees, payment). Contact: Deidre Greeley at 423.461.8706.
  • Payments: Payment is due by the first day of classes on August 17 and can be made on your new Milligan Self-Service account found at https://selfservice.milligan.edu/SelfService/Home.aspx. You can also set up a payment plan on your Self-Service account to cover the estimated yearly amount you owe after loans and/or scholarships.  There is no interest charged. The enrollment fee is $75.00. More information is mailed with your statement.

Information Technology (IT)

  • IT is located in the lower level of the Student Center (SUB). Info at http://it.milligan.edu/ or email helpdesk@milligan.edu.
  • Self-Service: Students can view information about their academic record and student account in the college’s student records database using the ID and password assigned to them for college network access. Among the information available to the students are semester class schedules, the college catalog, mid-term and final grades, unofficial transcripts, and charges and credits to the student’s account. Click here to access Self Service.
  • Canvas is the college’s learning management system, where academic courses and materials are accessed. Click here to access Canvas.

Security

  • Security is on campus from  5pm-8am.  If you need to contact them please call  423.791.4292.
  • Information relative to the Federal “Student Right to Know Campus Security Act” (Public Law 101-542), Federal “Drug-Free Schools and Communities Act” and Tennessee “College and University Security Information Act” is available in the Office of the Dean of Students. This information includes campus crime statistics, Campus Security policies and procedures, and a drug-free policy statement.

Housing & Emmanuel Cottages

  • Main Contact: Donna Godsey, 423.461.8760. Cottage Housing Manager is Sergio Diaz Ramos, 830.776.3845.
  • Maintenance Requests: To report a maintenance request you can contact Grace Goehner at the Physical Plant at 423.461.8734 during business hours.   The Physical Plant summer business hours are Monday-Thursday 8a-5p, Friday 8a-12p.  During or outside of those hours you can contact the Cottage Housing Manager, Sergio Diaz Ramos, at 830.776.3845.  Grace and Sergio will report maintenance request to the physical plant staff who will to see any issues.
  • Emergencies: If there is a maintenance emergency (fire, smoke, water etc.) please report immediately.  In the case of an emergency first call 911, and then report the situation.
  • Payments: All payments can be made at the McCown Business Office.  They accept all forms of payment.  Summer hours are Monday-Thursday 8a-5p, Friday 8a-12p.

Parking

  • All students need to register their vehicle(s) and display their parking stickers.  Cars can be registered with Donna Godsey in the Student Development Office, located in the McMahan Student Center.  There is no cost to register a vehicle.

  • All news, announcements, and calendar of events can be found at MilliganToday, our online communication hub where news, announcements, and event information is posted daily.

Gilliam Wellness Center

  • You have access to the Gilliam Wellness Center with your Milligan ID.

Counseling

  • The Milligan Counseling Center is equipped to provide short-term counseling services without charge and is offered at the Taylor House, second floor. Counseling services are available by appointment and are offered at various times throughout the week (Monday through Friday).
