Milligan University’s area of communications has expanded its academic majors for fall 2021 to include film, graphic design, interactive media design, multimedia journalism and public relations.
The increase in majors reflects the university’s response to the changing needs and future demands within the field of communications.
To further strengthen students’ professional development, the area of communications will establish a student-run media agency this fall. Offered as a practicum, communications students will work on real projects for clients, on and off campus. Under faculty advisement, students will work as a creative team to provide services in publicity and promotion, website design, graphic design, animation and motion graphics, social media content development, and video services.
