Creative Nonfiction Virtual Reading

Students in the Foundations of Creative Nonfiction class will be reading excerpts from their work on Monday, Nov. 30, starting at 4:30 p.m. We will gather by Zoom.

If you’re not familiar with the term “Creative Nonfiction,” you can think of it as “telling true stories well.” Creative Nonfiction includes memoir, personal essays, and true-life narratives that might read more like novels or short stories than typical nonfiction—but it’s not made up.

The final class session for this semester will feature readings by each of the students: Macey Kennedy, Elijah Manship, Sarah Owens, and Marlaina Peterson.

If you’re interested, please email Prof. Jim Dahlman ( for the Zoom log-in information.
