Corey Smith is returning to Paramount Bristol on his Great Wide Underground Tour. Last time around it was Corey – solo. This time he is bringing his full band!
Corey Smith, the fan-made man, has sold over 1 million tickets, 1.5 million digital singles and over 200,000 albums, building an unfailingly devout fan base, all around the nation, by simply telling it the way it is. Corey wrote every word on all of his ten albums, and produced nine of the ten, including 2011’s Top 20 release ‘The Broken Record.” In the summer of 2015, Corey teamed up with producer Keith Stegall (Alan Jackson, Zac Brown Band) for his latest studio album, “While the Gettin’ is Good,”on Sugar Hill Records. Smith’s concerts, as documented on his album, “Live in Chattanooga,” regularly sell out, with fans singing along to favorites like the coming-of-age anthem “Twenty-One,” the nostalgic time warp “If I Could Do It Again” and the group hug “I Love Everyone.”
“In a genre whose biggest artists tend to be signed to major labels, Corey Smith is the exception — an indie-minded country singer who’s spent the past decade breaking rules and selling records.” – Rolling Stone
