Senior fine arts major Mitchell Hancock will present his photography exhibition focusing on people from all over the world in an exhibit titled “Apart From Me | A Part of Us ” starting on Sunday, March 25, with an opening reception from 2-4 p.m. in the Milligan Art Gallery. Hancock’s concentration is in photography with minors in graphic design and digital media. His exhibit will remain open until Friday, April 6.
“My show is about how despite our differences, people all over the world are more connected than we often think,” said Hancock. “The title means that even though someone or someplace else is different than or apart from me, they are still part of all of us as a whole.”
Throughout his exhibit Hancock hopes to highlight things that make people unique, while emphasizing connectivity among all humans.
“After Milligan my goal is to use my talents in photography and graphic design with missions,” said Hancock. “I am not exactly sure what that will look like, but for now I have a job with CMF International as a temporary graphic designer.”
