New Course Fall 2018! SOWK 350: International Development

An introductory course on the theories and practices of international development.  Students will explore the work of leading researchers and practitioners in the field of development and will study development theory, grassroots initiatives, sustainability, a Christian perspective on poverty and development, and how to create transformational programs.  This course will prepare students to look at international development critically and to examine best practices from around the world.
