Milligan to host prospective counseling students

MILLIGAN COLLEGE, Tenn. (Oct. 12, 2016) — Students interested in studying counseling can be a Milligan College “Student for a Night” and experience the college’s graduate counseling program on Thursday, Nov.10, 5-7:30 p.m. Students will meet in Hardin Hall, room 102.

Prospective students will have the opportunity to connect with current students, tour the counseling center and sit in on a counseling class, “Theory and Practice of Counseling,” taught by Dr. Christine Browning, associate professor of counseling and psychology. Serving as the director of Milligan’s counseling program, Browning is a licensed professional counselor, a nationally-certified counselor and a psychological examiner. She has a passion for working with individuals who have experienced trauma and abuse in childhood and is a certified trauma and abuse counselor.
