Milligan hosts Liz Curtis Higgs for women’s conference

MILLIGAN COLLEGE, Tenn. (Feb. 5, 2016) — Milligan College presents author Liz Curtis Higgs for the 12th annual Eleanore L. Campbell Ladies Conference hosted by the Associated Ladies for Milligan (ALM) in partnership with 88.3 WCQR. The event will be held on Saturday, Feb. 20, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Milligan’s campus.

The conference is a day for women of all ages to be spiritually fed and recharged through biblical teaching, uplifting music and fellowship with other women from throughout the region.

Higgs, who is from Louisville, Kentucky, is the author of more than 30 books with 4.5 million copies in print, including her nonfiction bestsellers “Bad Girls of the Bible,” “The Girl’s Still Got It and The Women of Christmas,” as well as Scottish historical novels “Here Burns My Candle” and “Mine Is the Night,” a New York Times bestseller. Higgs also has presented more than 1,700 inspirational programs in the United States and abroad.

The conference is $45 for adults and $20 for students. A box lunch will be provided.

The purpose of ALM is to raise scholarship dollars for the college, be an outreach to the campus community and enrich women’s ministry in the local community. All proceeds raised from the event benefit the ALM Endowment to provide student scholarships at Milligan.
