Author, blogger and NPR commentator Frederica Mathewes-Green will speak Monday, Sept. 15 @ 7 pm in Hyder Auditorium. Her books are for sale in the bookstore and will be available at the event tonight (cash or check only). Frederica will be signing books after her talk. TWO SFP credit are available for attending the event.
The author of nine books on Christian spirituality, Frederica’s writing has also appeared in publications such as Smithsonian, National Review, The Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, and Christianity Today. She blogs about faith, popular culture, and contemporary issues at Frederica.com. She lives with her husband, the Rev. Gregory Mathewes-Green, near Baltimore where he is pastor and she is “Khouria” (“Mother”) of Holy Cross Orthodox Church. Frederica’s presentation, entitled “Next Stop: Transfiguration,” is part of the Buechner Institute Lecture Series.
