Education scholarship
Jack Simpson in the Office of Institutional Advancement received word of a competitive $1,200 scholarship from the Washington County (TN) Retired Teachers Association for a junior, senior, or graduate level college student who is pursuing a degree in education.
In order to qualify you must:
o Be a graduate of a Washington County, TN, high school (Science Hill, David Crockett, Daniel Boone, or University High)
o Maintain a 3.0 grade-point average
o Show evidence of financial need
o Complete (and return before the deadline), an application which must include a letter explaining how this scholarship would benefit his/her education.
